Who I work with
Sports and performance anxiety
The pressure to perform does not stay in the arena. It follows you into practice, into the car, and into the quiet hours when you are replaying what went wrong.
I work with athletes and coaches, and with people whose identity is tied to doing well at something — including those who have stepped away from a sport and are still working out who they are without it.

What we work on
- Pre-competition nerves that escalate instead of sharpening focus
- Perfectionism that makes a good performance feel like a near miss
- Injury, recovery, and the fear of not coming back the same
- Slumps, and the stories you tell yourself about them
- Retirement or a career shift, and the identity that goes with it
- High standards at work, in school, or in a creative practice
How I work with this
Performance work is practical. We look at the actual moments — the hours before an event, the mistake, the recovery — and build routines you can rely on when your body is doing its own thing.
We also look at what sits underneath: where the standard came from, what you believe it protects you from, and whether it still serves you. That is usually where the lasting change lives.
Nothing here requires you to be an elite athlete. The same patterns show up in auditions, exams, presentations and surgeries, and they respond to the same work.
Sessions are held by secure video for clients anywhere in Colorado, Arizona, Maine, Minnesota and Idaho.
